if you have the slash symbol in the top box, you have the right piece in the wrong location.
If you have the slash symbol in the bottom box, you have pieces in the correct location.
Change the first symbol, and press the lower right button, Repeat this until the bottom box changes. Then change the second symbol and press the box, and then the third symbol.....

For the mastermind puzzle,
if you have the slash symbol in the top box, you have the right piece in the wrong location.
